A Capgemini Case Study
Natixis, the corporate and investment banking arm of Groupe BPCE, sought to provide its corporate clients with real-time cash transaction alerts on their smartphones. To achieve a first-to-market advantage, they needed a technology partner with expertise in both mobile applications and payment processing to develop and deliver the solution within a demanding nine-week timeframe. They partnered with Capgemini to create the "myAnnonces" mobile reporting service.
Capgemini assembled a specialized team to design, build, and deploy the myAnnonces application for iPhone and BlackBerry. The solution implemented a real-time push mechanism with customized filtering, sending targeted payment alerts directly to treasurers' devices. This innovation made Natixis the first bank in France to offer such a service, providing a significant competitive edge and improving both their image and their clients' ability to manage cash flow. The project was completed successfully within the strict nine-week deadline due to Capgemini's technical capabilities and the collaborative relationship between the two teams.
