A Capgemini Case Study
The Multinational Technology Company needed to find new business models to stay ahead of industry change, especially by identifying automation and security opportunities for small and medium businesses. It also wanted to reduce paperwork and digitize contract management and operations, since existing automation tools were mostly built for larger enterprises. Capgemini and its Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) in New York were brought in to help explore the challenge.
Capgemini worked with the company to assess the market and technology landscape, map capabilities, and define an MVP focused on digital services such as image processing, AI, machine learning, and optical character recognition. This led to a new e-signature use case to simplify and automate workflows. The effort helped spark a 500-person digital engineering team and accelerated the company’s move toward faster digital product delivery and new growth opportunities.
