A Capgemini Case Study
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) needed to modernize its prisoner escort and custody services contracts to achieve significant efficiency savings, contribute to departmental cost reduction targets, and improve operational alignment and service scope. The MoJ engaged Capgemini Consulting to act as its financial and commercial advisor for this high-value procurement program.
Capgemini delivered a solution that included strategic modeling, the design of a new contractual payment mechanism, and comprehensive financial evaluation. The result was the award of new contracts forecast to save the government £261 million over seven years, a 20% saving, alongside improved contractual mechanisms for effective long-term management.
