MAN Group - Customer Case Study

The MAN Group, a leading European industrial organization for transport engineering, sought to increase transparency and control over customer-oriented quality across its entire vehicle lifecycle. To meet this strategic goal, MAN partnered with vendor Capgemini to establish a comprehensive target system for monitoring quality key performance indicators in development, production, and service.

Capgemini developed a flexible and scalable Quality Cockpit using SAP BusinessObjects and Oracle databases to provide an overview of key metrics and generate detailed reports. This solution enabled MAN's management to monitor quality progress significantly faster, assess situations, and identify areas for action to boost customer satisfaction and reduce warranty costs. The agile project was implemented successfully within 10 months, creating a fundamental tool for quality reporting and management decisions.
