LVMH's Wine & Spirits unit, comprising prestigious Champagne and Cognac houses like Moët & Chandon and Hennessy, faced the challenge of harmonizing business processes and IT solutions across its historically competitive brands. The company partnered with Capgemini to design and implement a unified approach that would foster collaboration without compromising each house's unique identity.
Capgemini worked with LVMH on the large-scale Chorus project, defining a core business model using SAP and Cognos software and implementing new processes for supply chain, finance, production, and more. The solution included significant change management and established a network of Business Process Owners. As a result, the harmonized core model now covers 90% of the company’s functionalities, successfully transforming how the business leaders across the different houses work together.
