Capgemini's solution involved establishing a center-led support concept with regional knowledge centers to drive change management and implement the IBX eSourcing tool globally. The intuitive platform was quickly embraced, leading to a dramatic increase in usage from 80 auctions in 2013 to over 500 in 2014. The results were significant, with Capgemini helping Linde Gas achieve 100% higher savings per sourcing event compared to traditional negotiations, alongside major gains in process efficiency.
