A Capgemini Case Study
A large Dutch government agency responsible for welfare payments faced the challenge of improving service excellence and expanding its online services while simultaneously cutting costs. The agency needed to establish a solid information and reporting structure to meet these goals and turned to Capgemini for a diagnostic scan to develop a Business Intelligence (BI) strategy.
Capgemini's consultants analyzed information streams through stakeholder questionnaires and in-depth interviews, providing a quantitative and qualitative analysis with recommendations and a business case. This work laid the groundwork for a centralized, cost-efficient BI environment, receiving high marks from the customer. The project established a broadly supported blueprint for a future common BI platform and increased organizational support for BI, which is now central to the agency's transformation into a smart, lean, and service-oriented operation.
