A Capgemini Case Study
KBC Group, a major financial services company in Belgium, was seeking to boost profitability through growth via mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing. This strategy required a solid and scalable ICT architecture. To address this challenge, KBC selected vendor Capgemini to provide a proven methodology for service-oriented architecture design.
Capgemini implemented its Service Based Development program, which was centered on its Integrated Architecture Framework (IAF). This solution involved training over 100 KBC professionals and intensively coaching more than 20, establishing a knowledge base for their entire ICT force. The result was the creation of one of the most advanced architecture design toolkits, providing significantly better agility and sharpened competency in business and IT collaboration for KBC Group.
