A Capgemini Case Study

Preview of the ING Case Study

ING - Customer Case Study

ING, a major Dutch bank, faced the challenge of extending the reach of its mobile banking application to users of Microsoft Windows Phone and Windows 8 devices to meet growing customer demand. To address this, the bank engaged its long-standing partner, Capgemini, leveraging their Mobile Center of Excellence (MCoE) and Mobile App Factory approach.

In collaboration with Microsoft, Capgemini built a new, multi-platform architecture for the application, utilizing a distributed Scrum framework for agile development. The successful solution allowed ING to provide its customers with a user-friendly Windows app, leading to improved customer service and satisfaction. Furthermore, the wider platform access enabled ING to reach new customers and grow its business, with Capgemini also contracted to handle several future application releases.
