Major European Life Sciences Company’s radiology department faced a fragmented monthly supply chain management reporting process, with manual SAP-to-Excel data extraction, multiple source formats, and heavy validation effort. Capgemini implemented an automated, real-time KPI dashboard built on Microsoft Power BI and integrated with SAP, giving users a single view of key SCM metrics and configurable alerts. The solution improved decision-making, enabled proactive “fix-before-fail” actions, and cut reporting effort by about 50 FTE days per year, while also helping reduce waste such as blocked stock and write-offs.
