GE Healthcare optimizes medical equipment installation logistics with Salesforce CRM

GE Healthcare in France faced a major scheduling challenge: more than 50% of its annual medical imaging equipment installations had to be managed during a three-month peak period. To better handle this demand, GE Healthcare worked with Capgemini and Salesforce CRM, using the SFDC Lightning Salescloud to improve installation logistics and planning.

Capgemini implemented a fully embedded Salesforce solution that used real-time data to anticipate demand, validate schedules, and forecast resource needs more accurately. Delivered in four months, the tool reduced installation delays, improved supply chain management, and enhanced both customer and employee experience; GE Healthcare also reported better visibility and plans to expand the solution beyond France.
