A Capgemini Case Study
F.I.L.A. Group, a global Italian manufacturer of art supplies with numerous brands and a presence in over 150 countries, faced the challenge of unifying its network of acquired companies. They needed to combine corporate control with greater operational flexibility across their diverse business models. To address this, F.I.L.A. partnered with vendor Capgemini for a business and technology transformation, which involved implementing a new ERP system based on SAP S/4HANA.
Capgemini developed and implemented a new, single control system and common operating model for all of the F.I.L.A. Group's brands. This solution centralized the management of disparate business processes into one global system, defining common rules for finance, reporting, and supply chain management. The results included improved efficiency through a single way of working, the creation of a unified logistics infrastructure, and better leverage of economies of scale across their distribution networks, ultimately strengthening F.I.L.A.'s global leadership.
