Electricité de France - Customer Case Study

Électricité de France (EDF), Europe's largest utility, faced the challenge of preparing for a newly deregulated and competitive market. They needed to transform their retail operations to meet new customer demands and improve sales and service capabilities. To address this, they partnered with vendor Capgemini to develop a new client-centric system.

Capgemini implemented an operational system for EDF that included a Siebel-based CRM tool and a Cordaptix billing solution. This enhanced EDF's commercial capabilities, allowing them to launch new brands and successfully go to market with expanded services for millions of customers on time. The solutions led to increased invoice volumes and improved call center responsiveness for EDF.
