Digital transformation makes Chevron Phillips Chemical operations more intelligent

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company (CPChem) needed to accelerate digital transformation across its manufacturing and supply chain operations, improve cloud adoption, and make better use of data and AI while keeping end-user needs at the center. To do this, CPChem partnered with Capgemini and Microsoft Azure to find high-value use cases and build a scalable digital foundation for operational intelligence.

Capgemini designed and delivered a modern data and AI platform on Microsoft Azure, using an agile pod model and user-experience-led approach to launch tools such as Supply & Network Optimization, Connected Worker applications, and electronic permitting. The results included about 70% of CPChem’s applications moving to the cloud, dramatically improved reliability, faster product team launches, stronger supply chain insight, and measurable gains in safety, production, and plant operations.
