Deutsche Telekom, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, needed to improve customer satisfaction while rapidly supporting the rollout of fiber-optic broadband through a digital platform. To meet this challenge, Deutsche Telekom partnered with Capgemini to modernize its OSS fiber-optic platform and make the ordering and installation process more customer-centric, scalable, and faster.
Capgemini redesigned the platform using DevOps, cloud technology, and a microservice architecture built around an agile MVP approach. The new digital workflow reduced ordering and installation time, improved data accuracy, streamlined stakeholder coordination, and made it easier to schedule appointments and install service; the platform’s scalability also supports broader rollout across Germany.
