Danfoss drives accurate financial reporting with standardized accounting processes and smart automation

Danfoss, the Denmark-based manufacturing company, needed to consolidate and standardize its finance and accounting operations to improve efficiency, transparency, and real-time financial visibility across regions. To address these challenges, Danfoss turned to Capgemini and its SAP-based Global Enterprise Model© (GEM) and Global Process Model© (GPM) to transform core finance processes.

Capgemini implemented standardized processes across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and travel and expenses, along with automation tools for closing, reconciliation, and reporting. The result was more accurate and faster financial reporting, improved vendor payments and customer collections, 56 standardized record-to-report processes, reduced manual errors, and a cut in the closing period from 7 to 5 working days.
