Centrica, a major energy and services provider in the UK, Ireland, and North America, needed to modernize its digital infrastructure to become more agile, reduce costs, and prepare for innovation across its global finance operations. To support this transformation, Centrica partnered with Capgemini and selected SAP S/4HANA as the core platform for its corporate systems.
Capgemini implemented SAP S/4HANA in an aggressive 22-week timeline, coordinating with third-party suppliers and using pre-delivery analysis, testing, and training to minimize disruption. The result was a smooth rollout to 2,000 employees with no high-priority incidents, a project customer satisfaction score of 4.33 out of 5, and significantly improved financial processing, planning, and accounting efficiency.
