Capgemini Invent supports the BMW Group in the conception and introduction of a data analytics solution to manage test parts requirements

BMW Group Mexico faced the challenge of improving demand planning and supply security for vehicle and test parts amid complex automotive supply chains and ongoing bottlenecks. To address this, BMW Group Mexico worked with Capgemini Invent and SAP on a new analytics tool based in SAP Analytics Cloud to create more reliable forecasts and provide transparency across parts requirements.

Capgemini Invent helped design, implement, and roll out the solution, from process and requirements management to testing, training, and change management. The result was a single source of truth for demand and supply data, better forecast quality, improved planning for test parts, reduced bottlenecks and scrapping costs, and time savings through automated visibility into current and future parts needs.
