Capgemini Invent drives Ferrovial into carsharing service

Ferrovial wanted to enter the Spanish car-sharing market with its new ZITY service, but needed to understand demand, competition, regulations, fleet sizing, and how to position the offer in Madrid. Capgemini Invent supported Ferrovial with market analysis, user profiling, and business-plan development for the service.

Capgemini Invent helped define ZITY’s go-to-market strategy, target users, fleet requirements, and growth priorities, enabling Ferrovial to launch in Madrid with Renault in December 2017. The service has since expanded to 650 vehicles and 300,000 users, with more than three million rentals and over 1,600 tons of CO2 avoided.
