Capgemini Helps Dubai Customs Transition Smoothly to the Digital Platform

Dubai Customs, one of the world's busiest customs departments, sought to create engaging digital customer touchpoints and align its processes with the World Customs Organization (WCO) framework. To meet these goals, they partnered with vendor Capgemini to develop a new Cargo Inspection System built on the Oracle Siebel platform.

Capgemini implemented the Oracle Siebel-based system to digitize and manage the entire trade supply chain, enabling online submissions, inspections, and payments. The solution resulted in a smoother supply chain, faster digital service delivery, significant cost reductions, and the promotion of legitimate trade. The implementation by Capgemini successfully established Dubai Customs as Dubai's first smart government department.
