British Utility - Customer Case Study

British Utility, a UK energy company, sought to increase its sales conversion rate and income by modernizing its aging call center and sales planning systems. They engaged vendor Capgemini to implement a new solution due to their established relationship and proven delivery record.

Capgemini deployed a customized Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution using Salesforce.com combined with call scripting software from Informavores. This replaced the legacy system and provided management with an end-to-end view of the customer lifecycle. The results included a clearer view of sales leads, tighter controls to mitigate lead slippage, and a reduced risk of delays in making customer appointments. The success of this first phase led Capgemini to be awarded the second phase of the project.
