BPF Bouwinvest, a Dutch property investment firm, faced a challenge in enabling collaboration and knowledge sharing among its dispersed employees who frequently worked from home, on the road, or from partner sites. To address this, they partnered with vendor Capgemini to modernize their IT and telephony environment.

Capgemini designed and implemented a holistic unified communications solution based on Microsoft Office, Office Communications Server, and SharePoint, combined with Mitel IP telephony. The solution, which is run by Capgemini from a central data center, provides seamless communication and data sharing. As a result, employees are now more responsive and easier to reach with unified identities, and the firm has improved its ability to attract new talent with its advanced technology.
