Baycorp Advantage, a leading provider of business intelligence services in Australasia, needed to rapidly transform into a customer-centric organization to fend off a hostile takeover and fuel its growth strategy. To meet this challenge, Baycorp partnered with vendor Capgemini to develop a business transformation blueprint.

Capgemini implemented its Acceleration Zone, a collaborative environment based on its Accelerated Solution Environment (ASE) methodology. This solution enabled the joint teams to manage 26 overlapping projects simultaneously, resulting in superior quality, dramatically reduced timeframes, and lower costs. The vast bulk of the project elaboration work, originally slated for 18 months, was completed in just three months, providing Baycorp Advantage with a significant strategic advantage.
