Apec Innovates in Challenging Times

Apec, France's leading executive recruitment organization, faced a challenge with its outdated and inflexible information system. The platform was slow and costly to enhance, making it difficult to respond to a sharp increase in demand during a tough economic period. To address this, Apec partnered with vendor Capgemini to develop a new, business-critical system.

Capgemini implemented a solution using Salesforce CRM software, tailored for Apec's consultants and integrated with other systems via an Open Source Mule ESB. Developed using Agile methodology over fourteen months, the new system allowed Apec to manage customer relationships more proactively and respond to the market with new offers quickly. As a result, Apec's 640 recruitment professionals now benefit from improved functionality and the ability to leverage social networking channels to communicate with clients in new ways.
