A Capgemini Case Study
The American Dental Association (ADA), a 160-year-old membership organization serving 160,000 dentists, needed to modernize legacy systems and processes to keep up with changing member expectations, faster digital engagement, and growing demand for mobile access. ADA turned to Capgemini for help with IT transformation, including moving away from waterfall development, addressing technical debt, and improving transparency across its technology operations.
Capgemini implemented a transformation using its ADMnext framework, global delivery model, right-sourcing, cloud migration support, and UiPath RPA to automate membership and finance tasks. The results included lower operating costs, freed-up staff time for higher-value business analysis, better visibility into IT work through metrics, and faster membership processing—from weeks or days down to a target of seconds—while also enabling the ADA’s mobile app and dashboard to become major member services.
