Allianz Insurance plc wanted to improve claims handling by replacing paper-based processes with a system that would deliver better customer service while reducing administrative costs and delays. Working with Capgemini and using IBM FileNet technology, the insurer sought more visibility and control across the full claims life cycle.
Capgemini implemented a paperless claims solution built on IBM FileNet P8 and integrated with Allianz’s existing IT systems. The new platform gives staff instant access to relevant information, speeds up customer enquiries, and provides managers with better insight into individual claims and overall performance. Capgemini’s work is also expected to help Allianz Insurance plc achieve significant, sustainable savings in claims processing costs.
