Albert Heijn Streamlines Product Data Management in Key Step Toward Global Data Synchronization

Albert Heijn, the Dutch supermarket operator with around 700 stores, needed to replace a manual process for exchanging product data with more than 900 suppliers. The retailer worked with Capgemini, SRC, and Microsoft to improve data accuracy and take a key step toward Global Data Synchronization.

Capgemini helped implement SRC-PDM (Product Data Manager) Enterprise Retail Edition, a Microsoft-based automated data management solution that connects Albert Heijn’s internal systems to the Agentrics data pool. The new system reduced manual intervention, improved data accuracy, and is expected to lower labor needs and speed product launches to store shelves.
