A Capgemini Case Study
The Agència Catalana de l’Aigua, the water authority for Catalonia, sought to implement new technology and knowledge to improve the planning and management of the region's water cycle. To address this challenge, the agency partnered with Capgemini to create and roll out a new Telecontrol Center for receiving and analyzing critical data.
Capgemini implemented a comprehensive solution called the DmaCAT project, which was structured around four key pillars for managing resources, operations, information, and knowledge. The vendor provided the technical team and operating model for the Telecontrol Center, resulting in defined operational protocols, improved process automation, and greater flexibility. This collaboration professionalized the water management service and established the center as a regional point of reference.
