A Capgemini Case Study
Deutsche Telekom, Germany’s major telecom provider, needed a faster, more customer-friendly way to manage its fiber rollout as it transitioned from copper to fiber networks. Working with Capgemini, the company set out to build a new digital platform to support rollout partners and customers, reduce on-site appointments, and speed up planning and installation processes.
Capgemini redesigned Deutsche Telekom’s OSS architecture using a scalable cloud-based microservices approach, supported by agile methods, SAFe, DevOps, and open standards. The platform improved data quality, increased process compliance, reduced communication errors, and enabled faster order processing and activation, helping Deutsche Telekom scale fiber expansion while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
