ABB deploys Cadency by Trintech for more efficient financial processes

ABB Group, a global engineering company, needed to standardize its record-to-report processes across 100+ countries and 195 units, especially balance sheet reconciliation. Its teams were using different methods, making it hard to gain visibility, improve efficiency, and reduce manual work. ABB partnered with Capgemini and Trintech, using Trintech’s Cadency platform to support the transformation.

Capgemini led the development and rollout of the Cadency Certification solution, including system integration testing, user training, and user acceptance testing, while ABB updated policies around risk-based reconciliations. The result was a single global approach to balance sheet management with less manual effort, better visibility, and fewer reconciliations. The solution now covers over 80% of ABB’s global revenues, helping ABB improve timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
