The Largest US-Based Mutual Reserve Health Insurance Company needed to improve the speed and accuracy of producing and distributing benefit booklets, with the goal of sending them to members in under 60 days. It partnered with Capgemini, which was already supporting its application development and management, to address delays, manual updates, and errors in the booklet production process.
Capgemini implemented automated, macro-based tools, including a “Magic Wand” text-update tool, an error-identification tool, and a new training tool for faster onboarding. As a result, the company reached its 60-day delivery goal, reduced human error, improved booklet accuracy, and cut new-employee training time from six months to one month.
