How Ampsy Added Audience Emotion Measurement to Its Live Events Analytics

Ampsy, a leader in live-event media aggregation, faced a gap in understanding how event moments emotionally resonate with attendees—binary sentiment (positive/negative) wasn’t enough. To add depth to its location-based analytics, Ampsy partnered with Canvs to integrate emotion measurement into its platform using Canvs APIs.

Canvs developed a custom, location-centric API that delivers live emotion measurement so Ampsy can monitor real-time reactions (even without hashtags), pinpoint hotspots for customer support, and identify influencers showing high levels of Love or Excitement. The Canvs integration gave Ampsy more granular, actionable insights—enabling real-time course correction of event messaging, targeted support at critical locations, and improved influencer activation—expanding Ampsy’s analytics and marketing capabilities.
