The Mesa County Sheriff Office (MCSO) needed an accessible graphic design solution for its communications, but its Information & Communication Manager, a one-person team, had no dedicated budget for graphics. The office required a way for staff with varied skill levels to easily create visual content for public engagement campaigns and internal announcements.

Using Canva, the office created templates that allowed deputies to efficiently produce images for campaigns like #WarrantWednesdays. The solution from Canva was highly intuitive, leading to a significant increase in Facebook followers and enabling the apprehension of almost all wanted persons featured. Canva’s platform also became the go-to tool for a wide range of communications, from community events to internal notices, becoming a game-changer for the department.
