How Mud magazine shot to stardom with Canva

Mud Magazine was founded by Hector, who launched the publication after struggling to find an internship due to his work permit status. As the magazine grew, he needed an affordable, easy-to-use design platform to create graphics, presentations, and website assets, while also enabling his young international interns to collaborate, stay organized, and maintain a consistent brand without needing design experience.

Canva provided the solution through its collaborative visual design platform, including Brand Kit and Brand Control. With Canva, Mud Magazine could co-create ads, website material, social posts, and the magazine itself in one place, onboard new interns with minimal training, and manage feedback and approvals efficiently. The result was faster teamwork, stronger brand consistency, smoother remote work, and a scalable education program that helped Mud Magazine grow beyond a side project.
