Case Study: Boral North America achieves self-service image access and streamlined asset distribution with Canto

A Canto Case Study

Preview of the Boral North America Case Study

The Stone Division at Boral America enables self-service access to imagery

Boral North America’s Stone Division manages product and field photography for five premier stone brands and needed a better way to distribute images to distributors, sales reps, architects and agencies. Prior to Canto, assets were scattered across internal drives and cloud storage, creating confusion and time-consuming image requests. The team adopted Canto’s digital asset management platform and portals to centralize and control access to brand-specific imagery.

Using Canto, Boral North America organized assets by brand, use case and product details, and created four portals (sales, PR/communications and two retail/distributor portals) plus a restricted internal library. The result: a single source of truth that gives road-bound sales and architectural teams self-service access to the right images, enables agencies to resize and download media-ready files, and has virtually eliminated image requests while making Canto the go‑to repository for the company’s growing asset needs.
