The Honest Kitchen shares product images with over 4,000 retailers

The Honest Kitchen, a human-grade pet food manufacturer, needed a better way to organize and share a fast-growing library of product images, lifestyle photography, and brand materials with more than 4,000 retail accounts and a large outside sales team. Their existing mix of hard drives and Dropbox could no longer support their product and marketing operations, especially as their e-commerce business expanded. Canto’s DAM platform was evaluated as a way to bring order to their digital assets.

The Honest Kitchen chose Canto for its Portals feature, which let the team create a central source of truth in the Canto Main Library and share organized assets by product category and UPC code. With Canto, updates made to assets automatically appeared in the portal, simplifying distribution to retailers and reps while also supporting e-commerce workflows through drag-and-drop use in Magento. The result was a much easier, more efficient way to manage and share brand assets, promotional materials, and training documentation, though no specific numeric performance gains were reported.
