A Canto Case Study
Knog, an Australian cycling and outdoor accessories brand, needed a better way to manage and share digital content as it grew from a small startup to a global company selling through thousands of retailers in 40+ countries. Assets were scattered across servers, Dropbox, Google Drive, and email threads, leading to broken links, outdated files, and frustration for both internal teams and distributors. Knog used Canto DAM to address these content access and brand consistency challenges.
Canto implemented a centralized DAM with clear folder structures, detailed tagging, version control, and separate portals for internal teams, distributors, and dealers. The result was easier self-service access to approved assets, faster collaboration, and more consistent global brand presentation. Knog reported at least a 20% productivity gain across marketing/digital teams and a 100% reduction in asset-related complaints since launch, while also helping distributors and retailers sell more effectively with current, on-brand content.
