People in Need keeps project documentation on hand with Canto

People in Need, a Prague-based nonprofit founded in 1992, struggled with fragmented digital assets spread across Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive and local servers, making it hard for a global team to access project photos and videos and to document program impact. After evaluating options, web project manager Jaromir Mara and media head Tomas Urban selected Canto’s digital asset management platform to centralize their archives and meet the organization’s security, consent and budget requirements.

Using Canto, People in Need now stores over 330,000 photos and videos, with country-specific upload links, mandatory metadata and searchable tags that let staff quickly find and reuse assets while preserving consent and copyright information. Canto’s DAM reduced the effort required to manage, upload and share content, giving the team on-demand access to materials that demonstrate program impact and streamline project documentation.
