Kulmbacher Brewery centralizes brand assets with Canto

Kulmbacher Brauerei AG faced a fragmented media environment—templates and brand assets were scattered across network drives, cloud storage and local hard drives, creating inefficiencies and legal risk from outdated product images. Seeking a technically advanced, secure and user-friendly solution, Kulmbacher Brauerei AG selected Canto to centralize logos, ads, packaging artwork and other brand assets and to connect them to production metadata.

Canto implemented a digital asset management system: Kulmbacher’s team defined a file and metadata structure, migrated and imported assets into Canto, and connected roughly 15 marketing users plus external agencies. The platform now holds more than 5,000 media files, allows photographers to upload hundreds of images directly, removes the need for USB transfers, and lets colleagues self-serve released images (reducing inbox requests). With responsive Canto support and intuitive tools like the Chrome add-on, work processes became measurably faster and more efficient.
