Imhotep generates more architectural design business with Canto

Imhotep, a Phoenix-based provider of site information for architects, contractors and site owners, faced a persistent challenge: making elusive site data — hundreds of images, videos and PDFs per location — easy to find and share. President and CEO Dustin Curtis had been using a fragmented mix of editing, product management and cloud-storage tools and needed a single, secure solution; after evaluating several options he selected Canto’s digital asset management platform, attracted by its Portals, Curated Views and security features.

Using Canto, Imhotep centralized all historical and current site assets and organized them with Curated Views and client-facing Portals so users can quickly access specific drawings or photos instead of sifting through 200‑page packs. Canto’s DAM has sped client access to critical documents, enabled Imhotep to build new service offerings, freed the team to refine its business, and—according to Dustin Curtis—helped the company win more architectural design work.
