Canto helps SmoothSkin IPL launch into new global markets

SmoothSkin, CyDen’s light-based beauty technology brand, relied on distributors for 90% of its business but struggled to share assets efficiently across global markets. The team had been using Google Drive and SharePoint to distribute product images, videos, and training materials, but the process was messy, hard to navigate, and offered little control or visibility. Canto DAM was selected to help SmoothSkin improve channel communications and support distributor launches worldwide.

With Canto, SmoothSkin created customized Canto Portals for different distributors and territories, migrated and tagged its media library, and gained reporting into asset usage. This gave the brand a more professional, controlled, and localized way to deliver assets while protecting launch timing and brand integrity. According to SmoothSkin, distributors found the portals easier to use, there was no negative feedback, and Canto has helped the company launch into new markets faster and make internal workflows much easier.
