Lalique, the Paris-based luxury retail brand known for glassmaking, jewelry, homeware, and fragrances, needed a more consistent way to manage digital assets across multiple subsidiaries and departments worldwide. After an early DAM trial proved useful for the perfume team, the company realized its existing solution was too old and not intuitive enough for broader use, so it looked for a more user-friendly platform to support global operations. Canto DAM was the product under consideration.
Canto provided Lalique with an easy-to-implement DAM that could migrate existing assets, integrate with current applications, and organize files with metadata, folders, albums, and portals. Lalique rolled it out in phases across the digital, communications, marketing, and sales teams, with the marketing department building its first portal in hours; in just four months, Lalique migrated and organized its asset library and had users actively sharing and locating content more efficiently.
