Case Study: Bruce Lee Enterprises streamlines and secures digital and physical archives for TV, film, and licensing with Canto

A Canto Case Study

Preview of the Bruce Lee Case Study

Bruce Lee Enterprises manages assets for TV, film and educational purposes

Bruce Lee (Bruce Lee Enterprises) needed a robust digital asset management (DAM) solution to organize a vast collection of Bruce Lee digital assets and memorabilia: file servers and Dropbox were causing misplaced and duplicate images, and there was no way to link digital files to the on‑premise physical archive or securely share assets with outside parties. They selected Canto as the vendor to provide the DAM platform and asset management services.

Canto archived the collection, implemented a detailed keyword and tagging schema, and linked digital files to physical storage locations via tags; it also enabled secure share links with expiration dates for external research, film, merchandising and museum requests. As a result, Canto empowered Bruce Lee’s archivist to expertly manage both digital and physical collections, streamline access and sharing for projects, reduce misplacement and duplication issues, and support long‑term preservation of Bruce Lee’s legacy.
