A Canto Case Study
The Foster Art and Wilderness Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that preserves and shares Tony Foster’s watercolor wilderness journeys. Facing a growing collection of digitized paintings, photos, video, audio and documents that needed both archival care and easy access for branding and outreach, the Foundation needed a scalable digital asset management solution — and turned to Canto’s DAM to meet those dual requirements.
Canto implemented a centralized repository with structured metadata so The Foster Art and Wilderness Foundation can track licensing and identifying details, archive the Foster Journeys, and house marketing assets. As a result, the Foundation’s brand library now directly fuels educational publications and promotional materials, makes Tony Foster’s narratives more discoverable, and helps the organization better manage and share its collection to advance its mission.
