Teletransfer, a provider of graphic liveries for the Barcelona municipal bus fleet, needed a faster, more durable way to produce outdoor vehicle graphics. Working with Canon Europe Ltd., the company sought a print solution that could withstand weather, abrasion, pollution, and frequent cleaning while also reducing turnaround times for self-adhesive graphics.

Canon Europe Ltd. supplied the Océ Colorado 1640 roll-to-roll printer using Canon UVgel technology, which delivered instantly dry, weather-resistant prints that did not require lamination. Teletransfer reported shorter turnaround times, lower lamination and print costs, and the ability to print a 67-metre roll in just over an hour, while also improving print quality, durability, and colour vibrancy across its fleet and other indoor/outdoor projects.
