Studio Bell - Customer Case Study

Studio Bell, a graphic studio founded in Warsaw in 1998, specialized in large-format printing for advertising, office décor, trade fair signage, and increasingly photographic wallpapers. As demand grew, the company struggled with the limitations of its existing solvent and latex-based production, including color inconsistency, smudging, geometry issues, and environmental concerns. To address this, Studio Bell turned to Canon Europe Ltd. and the Océ Colorado 1640 with UVgel technology.

Canon Europe Ltd. implemented the Océ Colorado 1640, a high-speed, low-temperature UVgel printing solution designed to improve repeatability, print quality, and sustainability. The result was a major boost in performance: Studio Bell reported an approximate print speed of 40 m²/hour, more than four times its previous throughput, reducing print time from about half an hour to just a few minutes while delivering more reliable and eco-friendlier output.
