Solent Design Studio, a family-run full-service commercial print service provider in the south of England, wanted to expand its short-run digital printing capabilities. The studio needed to move more work from litho to digital and broaden its application range with new substrates, formats, and matt finishes, while its existing digital kit was lagging behind.

Canon Europe Ltd. provided a new digital print setup including the Canon imagePRESS C10000VP, imagePRESS C750, and Océ VarioPrint 6160. With the upgraded presses, Solent Design Studio has migrated substantial litho work to digital, expanded into new products such as A4 landscape books and business cards, and grown digital to nearly half of company revenue.
