Poster Expo, a display solutions provider in the Paris suburbs, needed a high-production printing solution to handle a diverse mix of exhibition graphics, banners, posters, textiles, and other wide-format applications while maintaining both speed and quality. Canon Europe Ltd. implemented the Océ Colorado 1640 to boost Poster Expo’s production capacity, and the printer quickly proved capable of delivering high-quality output at up to 40 square metres per hour in its highest quality mode. Within two months, Poster Expo was using it on 80% of its media types, and the company’s workflow automation setup positioned it for more efficient, potentially unattended production.
