KEW Electrical, one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent electrical wholesalers, was struggling to keep up with rapid expansion as its finance team manually processed more than 96,000 supplier invoices a year. This made it difficult to track accrued goods, control costs, and maintain healthy cashflow, so the company needed a scalable process management solution. Canon Europe Ltd. provided its Canon Purchase to Pay (P2P) solution to help address these challenges.

With Canon Europe Ltd.’s automated end-to-end Purchase to Pay platform, KEW Electrical digitised its Accounts Payable workflow and now automates 80% of the process under a single system, automatically matching, recording, and filing invoices against PO numbers. The solution improved visibility and control over spending and cashflow, reduced the need for additional staff, helped lower supplier costs, and enabled settlement discounts for early payment. It also strengthened compliance and fraud prevention through reporting and dashboards, and was later expanded to overhead expenses management.
