Fujitsu, a global ICT company, needed to unify fragmented and inefficient print systems across its European and Indian operations. Its ageing fleet, multiple country-specific contracts, unreliable secure print setup, and lack of consistent user access for travelling employees were hurting collaboration, security, and IT efficiency. Canon Europe Ltd. was brought in to help modernize the environment using Canon Managed Print Services and uniFLOW.

Canon Europe Ltd. streamlined and standardized Fujitsu’s print fleet, reducing 1,200 devices by almost 700 and deploying a fleet made up mostly of Canon imageRUNNER devices. With uniFLOW, Fujitsu gained centralized control, secure SmartCard-based printing, mobile and guest printing, and better cost tracking across EMEA. The result was an approximate 35% reduction in overall printing costs, improved security, easier management, and higher productivity across the business.
